Mumbai: Raymond Realty has reported a strong performance in the second quarter of financial year 2026–27, with pre-sales surging 98% to ₹902 crore, reflecting robust demand for its residential developments.

The sharp increase highlights the company's growing presence in the competitive real estate market, particularly in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), where demand for quality housing and premium residential properties continues to attract developers and homebuyers.

Raymond Realty's pre-sales reached ₹902 crore in the July–September quarter of FY27, registering a 98% increase compared with the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

Pre-sales represent the value of properties booked by customers during a particular period. Although they indicate the strength of demand and provide an important measure of a developer's business performance, they are not equivalent to revenue recognised in the company's financial statements.

The near-doubling of quarterly pre-sales signals improved sales momentum for Raymond Realty and strengthens its position in India's residential property market.

Raymond Realty has established its presence in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, one of India's most prominent real estate markets. The region benefits from strong employment opportunities, infrastructure development, connectivity improvements and demand from both end-users and property investors.

Mumbai's residential market has also witnessed growing interest in well-planned developments offering modern amenities, convenient locations and improved living standards.

For developers, the ability to deliver projects that meet changing customer expectations while maintaining competitive pricing has become increasingly important.

The strong performance comes at a time when real estate developers are competing to strengthen their market share through new launches, redevelopment projects and differentiated residential offerings.

Homebuyers are increasingly evaluating factors such as connectivity, construction quality, amenities, developer reputation and timely delivery before making purchasing decisions.

Raymond Realty's latest quarterly performance highlights the opportunities available to developers that can effectively respond to these evolving preferences.

However, sustaining this growth will depend on continued buyer demand, project execution, new project launches and broader market conditions.
