Bharat Future City Master Plan to Be Unveiled in December - Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy

 

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced that the master plan for Bharat Future City will be unveiled during the Invest Telangana Global Summit-2026, scheduled to be held in December.

The ambitious city is being developed across nearly 30,000 acres at Mucherla in the Ranga Reddy district, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The project is envisioned as a smart, sustainable and net-zero city, with a focus on future-oriented industries and urban development.

The planned development will feature dedicated zones including an AI City, Health City, Education City, Life Sciences Hub and EV Park, along with the Young India Skills University. The government has positioned the project as a major hub for technology, healthcare, education, life sciences and advanced industries.

The Invest Telangana Global Summit-2026 is scheduled from December 7 to 9 at Bharat Future City. The state government expects the summit to attract international investors and strengthen Telangana's position as an investment and innovation destination.

The development of Bharat Future City is also expected to influence the surrounding real estate and infrastructure landscape, as new roads, employment hubs and business districts develop around the project. Its master plan will provide greater clarity on the city's proposed land-use structure and future development framework.

The project has already attracted massive technology and infrastructure commitments. Amazon Data Centre: Amazon has commenced construction on a data centre facility backed by an investment of ₹1 lakh crore. TCS AI Data Centre: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has committed ₹70,000 crore to build the country’s largest Artificial Intelligence data centre within the city.

Managed by the Future City Development Authority (FCDA), the wider planning area spans 765 square kilometres across 56 revenue villages. The long-term project aims to generate over 13 lakh jobs and house 9 lakh residents, forming a cornerstone of Telangana's macro-economic strategy to transition into a $3 trillion economy by 2047.
